Old Negatives

Today, I discovered a box filled with old negatives. At times today, I have felt like I’ve remembered lost memories. The negatives span at least 15 years. There are literally hundreds of negatives that I developed over the years. Some of them haven’t ever been printed. Anyway, I scanned a few of them today. I started with friends. I’m starting a series over at Flickr. Please join me.

Some of the negatives are really beat up. I rather like them that way. I hope you do as well.

It could take me months all of these. But I think it’ll be quite fun.

  4. That is so cool…and really strange, because I spent a couple hours today going through old boxes of school papers and things like that I had stored in my parents’ attic. I apparently saved EVERY letter anyone every wrote to me, including the notes girls passed to me when we were 11 years old. It has been a strange day.

  7. Big hair? That’s nothing! You should see some other pictures. If you’re lucky and if I become temporarily insane, i’ll put them up sometime as well. :]

Yeah, I dunno. Ever since I discovered these images (and these aren’t even all of them) my head has been in a clowd. I think I’m going to have one of those weeks where I start to reevaluate the adult me.

So odd looking through these negatives.

    Thanks, Heather.

  8. you gave me a print of that photo, i didn’t know what to do with it….i don’t frame too many pictures of myself(other than the ones when i was a little kid picking my nose or butt)and one day my sister saw it and took it. now it’s framed and hanging in her den. the other side of the family thinks i’m some kind of bohemian-clove-smoking-intellectual…..but we all know differently. hehehehe
