Bodding… shi shi ahd bodding. Bodding, shi shi. Ok?

Some guy who speaks a language I don’t understand keeps calling me from LA. He’s been calling for three days now. I get about 4 or 5 a day. He has taken to leaving messages now, at night, that sound like he REALLY has something to tell me, but I have no idea what he’s saying let alone what language he’s speaking in.

He sounds like the sea lions. I understood them better. I think he’s asian. I know, I know that narrows it down. I think it might be Japanese he’s speaking. And if I had a way of getting my phone message on here, I’d ask someone to translate it for me, assuming there is at least one reader who speaks Japanese.

It’s really beginning to freak me out.

He just called and said “Meesherl? (something I didn’t get) yes. (more of stuff I didn’t get)”

I said, “WRONG NUMBER. YOU HAVE WRONG NUMBER. WRONG NUMBER!”

Make him stop.

  1. “Meesherl?” hhhhhhhhhhhmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
sounds an awful lot like michele don’t it?
maybe he is actually calling you.
maybe somewhere in japan there’s a soap detergent box with a picture of you on it and this person has made a pilgrimage all the way across the pacific ocean just to track you down and tell you about how soft you get his sheets & clothes.
maybe you’re like a celb over there. asian boys want to marry you. asian girls want to be you. i bet if you google it there’ll be “Meesherl” fansites all over the pacific rim.

…don’t laugh, almost the exact same thing happened to my friend homer. simpson.

  4. When you told him he had the wrong number, did you say it in a Japanese accent, so he’d understand? That might help.

If this guy gives you any more trouble, maybe we can unleash #4523 on him…

  5. Did you google the phone number? If you type ########## into google it will attempt a reverse lookup.

Imagine sending a sea lion to someone’s house showing them that you mean business.

  8. Yes, it does sound like that. And he says it a lot. Does that mean Thank You? What is he saying to me, Chandler?

  9. I think the dude is a glue-sniffer from LA and I think “Shishi” is his pet name for his mistress, who is just playing dumb about this whole thing.
