Let there be cable…

We will finally have cable come next week. (Assuming one of us can actually be there.) You know, there is a reason that drugstores, video stores, malls, and dry cleaners are open late. WE WORK FOR A LIVING. Why can’t cable, electric, gas, phone, and bank people work a later shift? This “window” thing they use sucks.

Anyway, we got the monster package. We got it all. I will never leave the house (‘cept for work) ever again. I can’t hardly wait. I care for cable TV that much.

  2. Well “monster package” means “monster ass.”

I hold Comcast directly responsible for my weight gain. I plan on suing them.

Keep it up and I swear I’m going to make you audition for the next season of ‘Last Comic Standing.’ You are that funny.

  5. You might have cable, but do you have a big widescreen hdtv?

  6. I do not. But if it weighs even CLOSE to the one I have now, I would dismember it. We move entirely too much for owning such a monster. So much, Toby toyed with the idea of buying a projector. heh.

  8. That’s what he heard (maybe, from you?) So we decided we’d stick with our good old 34 inch Toshiba (for now.)

Unless you were offering up yours.

  11. I’ve got a 57 inch sony vega widescreen HD. It is most cool.

Not that I’m bragging, but since we’re playing “whip out your high-end electronics,” I thought I’d join in.

  12. its actually just a 30” hdtv widescreen. yours might be bigger

its pretty close to this model: http://www.crutchfield.com/S-i5aiZCZgDL5/cgi-bin/ProdView.asp?I=305TXN3071

its got a flat screen and movies/games look AMAZING on it. way better than projector models, and i’d say as good/better than plasma screens. except that its as bulky as a regular tv.

samsung and philips both make a line of $800-$1400 widescreen crts that no tv stores ever carry, because they’re a way better deal than the flat screen 4:3 tvs
