Halo 2

How excited am I about the release of this game finally? You have no idea how excited and I’m not even a video game person. Oh how I wish it were out now. I could really use the diversion. Especially considering I’m sort of poor right now and can’t afford things like enrolling in this course.

  1. So they were right about November, after all. Everyone must get this game and the internet connection ($50 for a year, I believe). Then there will be some serious alien elimination.

  2. That looks like a “boy” game. Give me little cartoon bloopy characters trying to collect coins on a controller with only one button (jump) and I’m a happy camper.

    God, I’m old.

  3. I am not sure what it was about that game, but I was quickly sucked in. I played it for hours and hours on end. I’m still not sure what foreign being took over my body back then, thrusting me into the Halo addiction. Ah well. But megs, if you’re old, I must be dirt.

  5. I played it as well. Alot. Except the last 5 minutes of it. Which Mike will always torment me over.

But anyway, it’s about freakin time.

  6. Yeah, Toby teases me for it as well. I used to wake up super early in the morning, before work, so I could play for an hour prior having to head to the office. Toby helped me through the last 5 minutes, I have to admit. It was just too stressful. Plus, those damn head-exploding creatures, I hated them too. Sometimes he had to help me through The Flood. That’s where the game almost lost me the first time around. The Flood were all poopie-pants.

Yes, the end, I think is why I quit, I couldn’t take the pressure.

  8. A friend of mine actually has Halo parties. They hook up 4 TV’s and have 8 people play against each other in the same room. They play for like 6 hours and eat tons of junk food it’s crazy.

  9. Ah Lauren, perhaps we should have a west coast version the next time and we can play your people. The beauty of online gaming. (Please note: if I manage to one day find myself doing this, please, will someone pull the plug? While I have nothing against online gaming, this will not do the mihow good).
