Help us decide WHERE the hell should we move. NYC or DC? It’s that easy. We have talked about both jobs, they are nearly identical. It comes down to where.

Or should we stay here and hope we can pay our bills all the while saving enough money to eventually move away?

Got a coin? Flip one. Magic 8 Ball? Shake that bitch. Got a fortune teller handy? Ask her if It’ll be a boy or a girl. I’m asking for feedback. Even if you just want to tell us how crazy we are for possibly leaving San Francisco so soon.

Now, I must go and write (and call) people back thanking them for being so amazing and helpful and sweet.

P.S. Gina, if you find work in Detroit, then hells yes!

P.P.S. Dad and Mom, thanks for being so helpful and flexible.

P.P.P.S Ryan, thanks for toying with the idea of letting us stay with you should we move to NYC.

P.P.P.P.S Soung, thanks for also offering up your big wonderful house should we move to D.C.

well… having just spent my first weekend ever in NYC and still basking in the ‘afterglow’ as it is… New York gets my vote.

i’d move there in a heartbeat if it wasn’t so hard for us Canadians to get work visas for down there.

but since i can’t… you should.

Just wed some nice american gal. Hell, many of threats have been made on the internet lately about moving to Canada depending on this year’s election outcome. :] I’m sure you could find many takers. Put an ad on Ebay.

This really is a hard choice you guys are making…..DC is a really great place and NYC is neato too…..and San Fran has its qualities too….oh the decisions. OK, I think I am going to have to give you guys my vote of NYC. You guys seem to have the most connections there, your family is close by, and it would give me another person to visit whenever I get around to venturing back to NYC again. But then again it would be a lot cheaper for me if you guys stayed here in Noe Valley!!!!!
At any rate, I know you guys will be happy with what ever choice you make. :o)

I also vote for NYC. it’s providence: I’m writing this while using an wireless network in nyc. It was my great pleasure to show dubstylenine around this weekend, enjoying his genuine enthusiasm (i could almost hear him humming Andrew W.K. ‘I love NYC’ under his breath) and good nature. I bet Michele and Tobyjoe can show him around way better than I could.

Detroit, Detroit, Detroit. It’s the new hot spot for sci-fi action films don’t ya know…like…were talking Ewan Mcgregor and etc. As of today we have a futuristic subway stop and some fully enclosed bus stops! Some day we will get the rest – tunnels, trains, buses that work, etc. Gina can look out her window at work and see them setting up. But seriously folks, Detroit? You would really move to Detroit if there were some good jobs? Come on.

I can’t believe I never knew that those using Explorer on a Mac don’t have a “Speak” button and therefore can’t leave posts. My husband is trying to get people to use the better browser. I guess.
