Today we are going on a big long bike ride. We’re headed south through Brooklyn. We’ll take the Brooklyn Bridge up over into Manhattan and then who knows. I am really excited. And though I woke up in the middle of the night yelling, “SON OF A FUCK” because of a crippling leg cramp, I am still looking forward to the exercise.
Last night we watched the most amazing storm suck Manhattan clear out of view. It was truly humbling. I wish nature would kick the crap out of us at least once a week. Maybe we’d be nicer to each other. Who knows. More later after we ride, ride, ride.
Does it scare the hell out of anyone else that it’s now June?

  1. Last night I didn’t have power for an hour and a half after said storm rolled through here. Was too tired to go out to a bar so got some reading done instead. I should have taken some photos of me walkin around inside with my headlamp on.

  5. Yes. It scares me that it’s June. Remember when you were a kid and summers would seem to last forever? Now it seems to last a week. Time moves so much faster now. Too fast.

  6. yea..kinda funny that as you get older…time goes by more quickly…makes you realize that you really dont live forever…and that you have to grow up every once in a while :( Remember when it used to snow a lot during the holidays? now it deosnt snow much anymore…I really miss that…but when it does snow..its in huge clumps…so I guess it makes up for all the snow that we have missed.
