Pictures

Here are a few pictures taken over the past several days. Much to my dismay, my camera seems to be auto-stuck on some weird grainy-taking mode (I’m sure this is a user error, but whatever). I think this is why I’m still sort of partial to the variety of cameras that aren’t smarter than I am. For example, just yesterday Toby and I finally received our Holgas in the mail. They speak my language—the language of duct-tape and hope. Sorry for my lack. I had excellent intentions here. (Know this much).
(Descriptions, if any, are below each picture.)
Myself.
The beach we visited on Sunday with Cathy and Mike. (It’s a shame I had my ISO up too high. They’re so grainy. Ah well).
Again. This is the rock I laid on while the waves pounded below. What a day. What a wonderful day.
Admittedly, it’s all about the ass.
More sidewalk signage.
Saturday. Heather Champ and Rachel Lea Fisher
Saturday. Aaron Kimball
Rachel and Toby
An image taken while I was trying to figure out what my camera was doing.
Toby and I finally got our AWOL roll of film back from Ritz camera. I wrote about it a few days ago. Anyway, we got them back. And much to my pleasant surprise they were a long lost roll I had taken while in Turks and Caicos. I am so happy. And some of the images are really quite nice.

Amy, I have a bunch of pictures of Moira. They’re actually quite good. Should I scan them and send them to her?

Okay, Mihow you can’t get freaked out (even though I did) when you’re first pic came up my screen cut it in half and somehow at first glance with the thick scarf around your neck and the way the light fixture is behind your head—it looked like your were hanging from the ceiling by a noose—BUT ONLY FOR A BRIEF SECOND—but it did freak me out! And, isn’t it June in SF? Isn’t it getting any warmer there so you don’t have to still wear scarves? Now I need to read back and see if I missed where you talked about meeting up with Ms. Heather Champ and what that was like. Inquiring minds want to know!

bluepoppy, that’s hysterical. No, I am not hanging myself. Yet. heh. I didn’t write much after our weekend with Ms. Heather Champ and co. I was “blue” the day after that. I am such a moody schmuck. For real. I am one moody gal.

moody= artistically inclined = magical spirit = saves the world THUS, moody people are GOOD

I wonder if Toby agrees with that. heh

BTW, I DO look like I’m hanging. Weird. Not sure how I didn’t see that. Thanks for pointing it out. Now it’s just uber spooky.

I hope it wasn’t the company making you blue after the photolog get-together. It was nice to meet you and Toby, even if briefly – I was sorry to have to leave early but I’d made a promise to take my 4 year old godson to take him to see Shrek 2 and if I hadn’t made it there would have been no forgiveness. You seem like a great couple. I hope you’ll both make it to the next get-together in August.
Anyways, whilst my code has been compiling today I’ve been browsing through some of your recent entries and you remind me of a lot of the things I like about this town and reasons I moved here. I do take it for granted sometimes so it’s nice to see it through fresh eyes.
Thanks – Martin

No no no! it wasn’t the company at all. It never has anything to do with outside company at all, it’s all just me :] All is well. It was great meeting you as well, Martin. Next time, hopefuly we can all chat for a bit longer. Excellent site, btw. I now have your url. Thank you.
