I’m starting a new series called “Stories For My Son”. Well, that’s the working title. It may change. My plan is to record a story at least once a week. We’ll see how it goes. But for now expect a new video every Wednesday.
Edited to add: So, I think my video may have made some people uncomfortable. Perhaps giving a voice to a blog is uncomfortable for some? I can relate, I think. I’m sorry!
Haven’t we all been there? When I was in fifth grade I had four boys from kindergarden grab and pull down my pants at recess. At the time, I knew enough to be embarassed, but I didn’t know all the social implications of what had happened. Grade school can be so cruel.

The ending black crows thing was perfectly delivered!
That said, IMHO you should get a directional light and aim the camera so it hits you from a little bit above. The angle right now is somewhat-under/semi-flat , which just looks off. Shooting from just-above always makes people look better.

oh my gosh, that was almost as bad as my best friend in the third grade telling me she got pregnant from “french kissing” her boyfriend. Yeah. Imagine going home and telling your mom that your best friend is pregnant in the third grade…….thanks for helping me remember a really nutso and funny memory of my own. You are the best!

I don’t think giving a voice to a blog is uncomfortable at all! In fact, after hearing what your voice actually sounds like, I sort of tweaked how I “hear” your entries in my head so that they sound a little more like you—gives it just that much more authenticity, you know?

I would love to see videos of my mom from back when I was a baby – of how she talked, how her voice sounded then, and how she’s changed over the years. Emory will love it.
