No, really, who accidentally leaves their wife at a gas station? This is some Raising Arizona bullshit if I ever heard some.

    When my friend Janet was little she was left behind at a gas station while on vacation with her family. Her mother, explains it this way, “She was always a quiet child and what with the other 4 screaming and arguing the way they did we just didn’t notice.” Even now, 30 some years later, Janet can succesfully play the “remember the time you tried to ditch me at the gas station” card.
