Today, we received a not so nice email regarding SPD. Oh well. It seems he/she decided that having any site featured other than blogs was just wrong. So, for example. artist sites are out of the question. And a site written by a dog or a baby is out of the question, too. Toby and I never wanted to limit people as to what they wish to have shown. And we intend on keeping it that way as long as that site remains on the Interenet.

In other news, we have changed the layout from being every week, to every day (Monday through Friday.) There will be six portraits featured every day now. There are other ideas in the works as well. Hopefully, we’ll see some changes in the not too far future.

    Tell he/she that they can spend the time, money, and energy to set up and keep up their own frickin self-portrait site. Who the hell would give you crap for what you put on there?!
    I love that you’re going to do it every day…one tiny bit of advice: make the notice about that bigger on the site. I almost didn’t see it except that I was wondering why so few pictures today.

    I personally like the different kinds of sites. Plain old blogs get boring after a while. :) I loved the baby one.
    Sometimes I wonder who has the time to come up with these complaints.

    Also, 6 a day is great. Thursday takes forever to get here…and now I have another way to spend time at work not working. :)

    I love that baby picture. It reminds me a bit of what Belly looked like as a baby. I think it is cool that accept everyone in the SPD site. If others have a problems with it then they can go create there own….but we all know it won’t be anywhere as cool as the original!

    I love the baby blog! He looks so happy! How could someone be so angry about that much happiness?
    (And also, the idea that a personal site should to conform to a certain type in order to be noticed is preposterous. Jerk.)

    Take it as a twisted compliment. The complainer loves SPD so much, that they’re worried about the “purity” of it all.

    Or they’re just goofy. Take your pick.
