Let there be kittens.

Remember yesterday’s tuna post? Rest assured, the kitties who live out back are totally fine and fuzzy and well fed today.

One chunk of tuna landed on the little guy’s back and the black fella ate it off. Awwwww

  1. By the looks of those calicos – there’s someone else feeding them oily tuna as well..

  2. ha! That’s what Toby said. “Those guys are little fatties.” Indeed they are. But it’s winter so they need some chub. :]

  3. I know, right? CUTE BABIES! I wish I could pet them. But I can’t get down there. It’s torture. But we do get our cats this Saturday. Best. Xmas. Gift. Ever. :]

  4. ok wait. those kitties are ENORMOUS! and you throw grody oily tuna onto the street for them to lap up?

good thing your kitties are coming home. I think you are suffering from feline munchausen-by-proxy. stop the overfeeding! Schmitty will be there soon enough to eat you out of house and home.

  5. That there oily stuff ain’t that bad in a salad with some balsamic vinegar, nicoise olives, and cracked black pepper. Still, I’m sure the kitties appreciated it. But you must tell the truth … did you try to hit the cats with the tuna as you dropped it?

  6. true true. the Eye-talian tune in olive oil is super good. I fear the american kind.

  7. hahahhaa nope. I am a FREAK about even remotely hurting cats. I won’t even let Toby tease them by tying string to their tails or anything of the sort. I empathize too much with kitties, I fear.

Now, did I giggle when a chunk hit the kitten and the little black one ate it off? Oh hell yes. :] But I did not seek out to bomb the babies with oily tuna. hehe

  8. Stop the bombing! Cat-astrophe!

  9. Where have your kitties been vacationing? Pebble Beach?

  10. They’ve been in State College presenting a thesis.

  11. ha! They are vacationing in State College, Pennsyltuckey with the grandparents. Apparently, Pookum no longer likes Tucker or Schmitty and has taken over the entire house. Tucker and Schmitty are separated from both Pookum and my parent’s cat, Hazel. They will be arriving back in NYC on Saturday. This is a wonderful thing. We miss them deeply and I am feeding fatties out a third-story window. That’s messed up.

I think I saw them play at Black Cat last month.
    Good show.

  13. Hopefully that tuna won’t freeze, or it’ll be like a rock of tuna coming down on their cute little heads. Ow. ;)

You fed them canned tuna. I don’t know many more damaging things you can do to a living creature than that.

  15. Oh Jon, how do you sleep at night beneath all that worry?

  16. Dude. Cats lick their own butt. Which is worse? : )

    Buttpaste.

  17. Those cats eat off the pavement in Brooklyn. I don’t think a little canned tuna is going to do much to further speed along their one way express rocket to the afterlife.
