Pigs Flew

Last night, the Bay Area was blessed by a thunderstorm. It’s a good thing, too. Otherwise, Tucker would have spent the entire night in our toilet room. As it were, he only spent 3 hours in the toilet room at which point I woke up to the most foreign sound of thunder and decided I had to pee.

Thunder, everyone. Thunder.

  1. By the way people—she’s not calling it a ‘toilet room’ instead of a ‘bathroom’ because she’s foreign or weird or something. The toilet is actually in its own room. It’s all very confusing.

  3. Yes, Missy is right. We have an actual toilet room. It is odd. Especially since it’s the first thing you see when you open our front door. And there is a phone in there. A phone! But we don’t use a landline. So I will not be making phone calls while on the jon.

  4. RE: talking on the potty
I was driving home on the NYState Thruway from a rugby match in Syracuse a couple of weeks ago and I had to use the toilet room. So I situate myself in a stall, minding my own business (literally), when I hear a voice from the next stall over…
    VOICE: Hey, howya doing?
GJ?: …uh .. (thinking wtf?) ok i guess.
VOICE: So what are you up to?
GJ?: er, nothing. Just taking a break on my way back to buffalo.
VOICE: look, can I call you back? Some guy in the next stall is talking to me.

  6. Got Jesus, I’m not sure if it’s your delivery or you do actually have stories that sound like jokes. Either way. Best. Story. Ever.

  9. chieka hates loud boomy sounds, fireworks and especially thunder. she was next to my belly last night when it started and began to vibrate. i had 30 minutes of magic chihuahua fingers massage before she calmed down.

  10. awwwwwww what a cutie! If we can get the cats to agree, we’re going to try and get a little dog. Toby likes Chihuahuas because he likes to dress them up. I like them for this as well. However, after meeting Soung’s dog, Gambee (small Yorkie), I’m now torn. Perhaps we’ll get two dogs.
Left me wondering, does this happen often? I rather enjoyed it!
