HAPPY BIRTHDAY, TOBYJOE!!! He’s a big boy now. :] Tonight, we go for Ethopian food, which pretty much sums up how important he is as I can’t really deal with the wet lip-like bread they serve with everything. bleh. So that’ll be interesting. Though, it’s been years since I have tried it and I have only had it once, so perhaps this time I’ll love it. After dinner, we’ll probably just go home and open presents and drink plum wine or something. Who knows.
I have images from the past weekend but have to finish some stuff up before preparing them all. (First day back in the office since Friday, everyone knows how that can be).
Happy Birthday TJ!, fellow sagittarius (whatever that means, I’m never sure).
M- maybe the ethiopian food will be better this time. Is it a different place? You could always just shovel it in with your hands sans bread.
I LOVES that bread. Yum. Have a drink on me, TobyJoe. And have a great birthday!
Plum wine? You mean he got old enough to have alcohol/ Boy do times fly. Lol. Congrats.
Happy birthday, Toby!
Yep, he can drink AND rent cars now. WOOHOO!!
Yay! Happy bday.
Also, I guess it’s custom to eat with your left hand in Ethiopia…just so you don’t stand out or anything. ;) I love me some of that bread, too. It’s like a flat non-toasted crumpet.
Megan, I’m sorry to say, I’m surprised. I would have thunk after our scone bondage you would agree with the wet-lipped ethopian madness they like to call “bread”
DAMNIT WOMAN!
I know. After I wrote what it actually tastes like, “a non-toasted crumpet” I started to re-think if I really did like them or not. Damn. They are kinda rubbery.
Jeez, Megan, you folded like a cheap suit! Love the ethiopian bread, love it!
“you folded like a cheap suit!”
Maybe I only liked it ‘cause it was sort of the only thing I knew what it was. There was some green stuff on my plate that, I’ll admit, kinda frightened me. Have fun, kids.
Let’s talk about this:
“you folded like a cheap suit!”
Does this mean a “suit” as in you folded like a two of clubs?
Or a you fold like a cheap, polyester suit?
hmmmmmm
Like a cheap, polyester suit.
Duh.
;)
I didn’t think polyester actually folded. Or wrinkled, for that matter.
lalala.
mihow: i hope toby doesn’t go out drinking and renting cars at the same time then.
arjen, good point indeed. We’ll stay on foot.
freakgirl, it could be seen the other way. (see now this is why I wasn’t ever any good at those bubble tests).
I wonder if they have ethiopian restaurants in Ethiopia.
i want a cheap suit made from ethopian fleah bread for my birthday.
that would be hottt.
flesh. not fleah. i HATE fleah.
Happy Birthday, Mr. Joe. Cheers!
