And this next thing? This bothers me so. Where does this thing come from? See example below. (My voice is in blue).
Hot damn, that pie tastes good!
I KNOW, RIGHT?!
Yeah, right. I just said it.
Now, sans voice, this is really hard to explain, however it’s everywhere. People here at work do it after every comment. I just wonder where the ‘trend’ came from, if any one place. Or if it’s just a thing people do like “FACE!” or “I like pie, yo!” or “I know you are but what am I” (that has a direct relation to Pee Wee—I know) or whatever. But where does this one come from? I know, right? (I hope someone gets this, otherwise I sound deranged).
I always thought it was a Jersey thing. My friend Justin (who is British) constantly makes fun of my accent, and when he’s mocking me, he ends every sentence with “RIGHT?”
actually it’s more like “ri-iiight?”
is “i know, right” the same as “yeah, it is!”?
cause i like saying “yeah it is” as a joke. i used to work w/ a kid that said: “yeah, it is” and “right?” after every statement you made to him. i think it might be the same thing as “i know, right?”, but maybe i ma thinking of it incorrectly.
When I lived in Toronto, I was always getting yelled at for saying
“Huh?”…or, “pretty cool—huh?”
I guess I was supossed to say “Eh?”…I dunno.
what?! nobody in toronto says “eh”, thats such an east coast thing, more people say huh than eh.
Where did you live?
in scarborough, but the guy i lived with and his family were from peterborough. which where the people who liked to correct my, as they referred to it, “bad american grammer” on a regular basis. do you say “-huh?” precid?
where were you when i needed you? huh?
oh totally I say huh, it just fits, huh?
how do you know that name?!!
um. i don’t know. it just came out.
it was a ..vision, ..yeh thats it.
i have to retreat to my corner now.
I’m watching you….
::covers precid’s eyes::
stop looking at her, yr scaring her…
(. )( .)
Now I’m watching both of you.
heehee my eyes look like boobies…
They do look like boobies. In fact, they look like Bobby’s boobies.
Now why’d I go and say that!
You are darn lucky tobyjoe left for the day. ;)
I live in Scarborough. It’s nice here. HA HA HA HA HA! (It’s not.)
Bobby’s boobies, I see.
Toby is scared of ASCII-boobies?
