Toby

Toby is going in for his big tests today. He prepared for it all day yesterday. He drank a fluid that “does things” to you. I won’t go into details, that’s not fair. I hate the thought of him “going under” as they call it. But I think that’s more of a selfish thing as I am TERRIFIED when I must. I hope he’s ok. I will be picking him up today after I steal some puppies from the dog park at Union Square. He likes puppies and they’re too pricey to buy, so I will take someone else’s puppy instead. I want him to be all better so I can take him to lakes tucked in-between mountains and we can make more wind chimes with our puppies and cats.

  1. I just have this vision of you arriving to pick up Toby, staggering down the sidewalk because you are weighed down with wiggling puppies, trailing their leashes behind.

  2. He hasn’t eaten meat in like 10 years. And he hasn’t eat food in over two days. He hasn’t really eaten much at all in a week. Which worries me a bit. I might not get the puppies today, as I fear he might eat them.

  5. I think he will be. I am seriously ( ) close to getting us a puppy. Let’s say, for a second, I walked out of here after lunch, and the puppy people were handing out puppies, I would take one. I would. And he would wake up covered in dog drool.

  6. to whom it may concern:

i have had enough of people i know being sick. you are now all henceforth required to recover from any illnesses you may be suffering from IMMEDIATELY and to abstain from any further illnesses until further notice…

    thank you…

  10. I would not be a good pet owner. I don’t want to be a bad pet owner, so I don’t seek out any pets. Maybe that will change in the future, but for now, I think I should love puppies from afar.

If puppies make Toby feel better than you should totally have a puppy. And Nifkin is right…Everyone needs to get rid of their illnesses now.

Resa, I don’t know how you’re going to take care of a puppy and a baby! I’m sure it would be to hard for me.

  11. i think it will be hard, but i’ve been wanting a dog for so so long now and we never get one because “we aren’t home enough” for it. i feel like that might, um, change. plus, one of us will always be around. if it is me, i am willing to train a dog. cause i want one. :)

  13. Damnit Jon! Where were you earlier. That would have been great. I was wondering, what is it I can bring him when I pick him up? Not flowers. He’s a boy. But that would have been perfect. Oh well, maybe the next time he is butt probed.

Speaking of Toby, he was found wandering around the dog park. I went to the office to pick him up at 2 like planned and he was gone. Silly man. He was half coherent and in the dog park waiting for me. It was quite funny (after I stopped freaking out :)
