Hello! LONG time no write! I wrote something for Alpha Mom about Camp Boudreaux, which is on year two and I’m only partly losing my mind. (More on that in a bit. I feel like writing.)
I love this! We do our own summer camp as well, despite the fact that it’s not the fashionable thing to do in our community either. There are days when I am DONE. But it’s been a lot of fun, too, and I think it’s ok I’m robbing them of camp. We go to lakes and pools (if they’re cheap) and ride bikes and read books and we are messy all the time but I think they are having a pretty awesome time. I’m confused by parents who have their kids home and say they are bored and summer is slow, but no judging. Every family is different but I’m happy we do our own camp.
Nice! Can’t believe how big your boys are getting. I’ve watched them grow along with my own son for the last 9 years…. What a crazy thing the internet is. :)
