We have a baby, folks. Elliot Robert (Robert is my father, older brother’s name) was born at 8:16 PM on February 21st. He’s 8 pounds, 12 ounces–an entire pound heavier than his big brother.
He’s amazing. He’s doing well. I’m so happy for my family.
I will have more details soon! The labor was much easier than the last one. I’m feeling pretty great too.
I’m still in the hospital and will be until tomorrow (Wednesday). I’m writing this from a bed overlooking the East River and Roosevelt Island, preparing to watch a NYC rush hour take place.
Life is pretty great at the moment. It’ll get even better once I have breakfast! I’m starving!!
More soon! Pics too.
Congratulations! Hope all are doing well.
Delurking to say congrats!
Yay!! Congratulations!
Best to you all from Rhody. Go Coujeaux!

Yippee! I have been chasing you on twitter (even though I don’t have my own account) in anticipation of the news (while stuck in bed with a cold). So happy for you and your family. Welcome, Elliot!
Congrats to the whole clan.
I’m glad labor was easier. If there were justice in the universe, any woman who carries a baby for 42 weeks would be blessed with an easy labor!
Beautiful name, too!
Congratulations, mama! And welcome to the world, sweet Elliot!

I’m delurking to offer my congratulations to you, Toby Joe and Big Brother Emory. You’re a trooper for making it to 42 weeks. My eldest was 10 days late and an August baby and I remember thinking he would be the first baby never to be born. Can’t wait to see pics of President Elliot.
