Emory Takes His First Photographs

The other night while I was putting away groceries, Em grabbed my camera from off of the kitchen table, placed it on the floor (lens up) and took about 70 pictures. The first 45 looked a lot like this:

After I realized what was going on, I got in on the action.

And then Murray walked over to see what all the commotion was about.

I thought I’d share!

  1. This is hilarious! kid’s got a definite future as a photographer, notice his avant garde way of having the subject come in from the side of the picture, out of the frame as it were, instead of boringly centered in the viewfinder. g And cool mom too not to freak out and to join in the fun. I especially love the pic where Murray has joined in. Glad that your move is accomplished!

  2. Murray’s expression is priceless! You can just see the worried, “Uh, are you sure you know what you’re doing with that thing?” expression on his furry little face!

so, off topic… I follow you on twitter and you mentioned using a space heater. I was wondering what type you were using? I’m looking at buying one (my room is really cold and we’re trying to save on the bills at home), but am afraid of buying one that doesn’t actually heat up the room I am.

Thanks for any help you can give!

  6. He’s a natural!

Gage is obsessed with my Flip video camera and we have many videos of the floor, my feet and Gage’s midsection. Cameras + kids = hilarity!
