Elsewhere

March 15th, 2006

Our friend, George, is featured on Philly’s City Paper podcast. Such awesome news. George is a rockstar. (My commentary will be put in the comments section. I’m sure everyone cares about what I have to say.)

Also, this is one of the funniest things I have ever read on the Internet. I think I actually mean that, too.

I Have Another Question. (Plus, More Carlooneytoons.)

February 8th, 2006

If an Islamic newspaper published a comic featuring something as equally as offensive to a fundamentalist Christian, (unfortunately, I am not enough of a religious scholar come up with such a comic) said fundamentalist Christian might retaliate using violence against the first “Muslim” person they see? (That word is in quotes because, well, American’s have a way of ignorantly deciding who is who and where they come from or which religion they adhere to.)

Meet Someone New.

January 27th, 2006

We’ve been slacking pretty hardcore on this site. Actually, for a while it seemed it was considering taking its own life. There’s been a resurgence, recently. I’m proud to say that we’ve had several people join. Tell a friend.

Lettuce Stop Littering.

January 25th, 2006

(With headlines like the one above, I could totally work for the New York Post.)

Yesterday, while listening to The Rachel Maddow PodCast, I was made privy to the story that took place in Easton, Pennsylvania on the 23rd. Basically, for you anti-clickers out there, a woman ordered from McDonald’s. She then drove to Wal Mart and decided to eat her meal in her car in the parking lot. When she was finished eating her burger or whatever, she decided she didn’t want the lettuce any longer. She rolled down the window and threw the remains out the car window. She was cited for littering. She owes $173.50.

My Latest Stunt (Insert Drumroll)

December 1st, 2005

On Tuesday, I sent a batch of Bush T-Shirts over to the Air America staff, namely Rachel Maddow. I considered walking them over, as I am literally a few blocks from their offices, but I didn’t want to come off as creepy. So I mailed a box to them and a little letter, too.

A Plea for Clemency

November 28th, 2005

I’m against the death penalty. It’s no secret. I think the concept is downright bizarre, actually. But this isn’t about my viewpoints or what I believe, necessarily. This morning, I was listening to a Podcast of The Rachel Maddow Show on Air America. I do this every morning, actually. I load up my Nano and head into work. The hour goes by better if I’m listening to something other than the grunts and farts of my fellow commuters.

Pavlov Cries Wolf.

October 7th, 2005

I played a lot of soccer as a kid. I was actually pretty damn good at it, too. Sure, I couldn’t jump rope, dance, cheerlead (although I tried), do backbends, splits, or dress up very well. But I could play a mean game of soccer, softball, and basketball. Even though I usually played right wing in soccer, I was well aware we were nothing without a good defense.
