   I’m streaming the MP3 now. It’s actually quite good!

   And sarah B. is the freaking greatest. Now, if only she and I could arrange that cupcake date we’ve been talking about.

   Yes, this biweekly podcast is all local Philly folks. It is organized by Jon Solomon, a DJ on Princeton station WPRB, who I’m told is sort of an indie rock DJ big shot.

   I haven’t actually listened to it yet. If you scroll down from the links there is a playlist. George is third to last.

   The Sympathizers “Our Meterologist Tom Verlaine (Power Failure Dub)” – Dread At The Control

   EDIT MUCH?!!

   You know exactly how they sound without hearing them, don’t you? That’s what I thought.

   Speaking of cheese, I don’t think Gregg (a third G added at some point) lives here anymore. But he apparently remains locally infamous for heroin-based exploits.

Why haven’t I come met you yet? My friend is in the band National Eye listed on that cast. They were at SXSW.

    Ok, there is definitely a Philly sound running around. Three bands now have sounded very similar.

    Royal Trux meets the Cynics, meets an organ, meets an on purpose dirty sound sorta like ripping a 1000 dollar pair of jeans.

    jon solomon is a big cheese in these indie parts (at least was during a certain run in the late 90’s – early 00’s) – he runs My Pal God Records, for which put out what is IMO THE rawk record, Hurl’s “Not a Memory”
