Happy Easter!

I am going to try and do something with Pickle this year but today, I have to work at the bar. We’ll see what we can arrange while we’re visiting Coney Island tomorrow.
It’s lovely out today! And I have to work! Yay, me!

We took the kids up to the Toronto Zoo today. Funniest thing that happened was our oldest (the relatively simple and sensitive one) walking up to an outdoor exhibit window and looking out onto a field of grass and proclaiming “nope! nothing here!” when in reality there was a 400 lb siberian tiger sleeping on the ground not 6 feet from the other side of the window. “My dear boy,” I explained to him, “we have a word for people like you when they go into the jungle. We call them ‘lunch.’” We all had a good laugh. I’ll send pics of the sleeping tiger later.
